Pdc process burning CPU when not in use?

A few times I've noticed my MacBook Pro (M1 Max) running warm despite "no apps using significant energy," and Activity Monitor shows pdc using 100% CPU constantly. (I had been running the Simulator previously but exited it, and I haven't used pdc via the command line at all. It has been days since I built to the Simulator, which I do from Nova.)

So I force-quit pdc from Activity Monitor, but maybe there's something that keeps it doing... something when not needed?

This is SDK 1.9.3.

We believe this will be resolved in the next release. The solution in the mean time run it outside of Nova.

Great! In the meantime, normal Nova integration seems to still work—I'll just force quit pdc as needed after a work session.
