Any chance of recording stereo in via the headphone jack?

I just made a betsync tool for Pocket Operators (I think it works for KORG Volcas as well bu I can't try that since I don't have one)

Now I want to make a tool where I can back up patterns from the PO-33 sampler. The Playdate is such a nice companion for the Pocket Operators already, with PDFXR providing endless sounds to sample, and also the formfactor being super portable.

But in order to properly back up patterns and sounds I need to record stereo and from what I've seen the Playdate only supports mono over the headphone jack in.

Is it even possible to add functionality for stereo in over headphone?

You mean stereo mic input? I don't think that's physically possible, given that the Playdate only has a TRRS jack for stereo audio, mono mic input, and ground.
