Battery indicator/charge warning

Please fix the battery indicator and charging warning in the OS. It just jumps all over the place. The battery life it self is not the problem but the software indication is just way off/mess. Not only when using but also when charging. Jumps from empty to 30+ %. Stops at 87 or 93% then when unplugging jumps back. Sometimes to 100%. OS is telling the device is at 10% and must be charged but is running for multiple days (so not 10% at all). Etc. Etc. I know this is a long-running software problem/issue with many people but it’s so annoying/frustrating . Please take time to tackle this one.

It's not actually a software problem -- it's a hardware one. The Playdate doesn't have the right components needed to measure the battery percentage correctly, so it uses one of the ADCs on the microcontroller to estimate the battery voltage and calibrate the percentage that way.

I do agree the estimation curve could be better but I'll have to check how they do it now.

I know this is a hardware limitation of the Playdate but still a software thing to deal with it.
I rather have the option to turn of the charge indicator/notification and not have it on screen for days and have no percentage at all than have it useless like it is.
