I’m experimenting with a concept that I call “exo web browser”: instead of trying to support the full gnarly HTML5 spec, exo relies on curated, custom code to parse a selected list of websites and massage them into a form that fits Playdate’s display.
Currently the functionality is very barebones and only supports CBC Lite news. I will add more sites once some blocking issues are resolved.
Also, afaik this might be the first open source browser for Playdate! I took a lot of inspiration from the Constellation Browser and the Hopper browser.
