Sim means the Playdate Simulator used by developers to develop the game.
the fps diff I was referring to is between rev A and rev B of the Playdate.
Rev B is much faster for this kind of game.
Rev A are early (?) Playdates, no longer sold afaik.
I think rev B was introduced in group 4. If you bought a playdate in the last year or so you surely have rev b.
As a gamer you want to have rev b
As a developer you want to have A (or both). If it runs well on A the chance is very high it will run well on B
That I don´t know since I bought it used...hmm I googled a few methods of finding it out but.. I guess I have to use a software to read it out?

Seeing those 3D scenes in monochrome reminds me of Obra Dinn. Maybe a similar slow-paced investigation game could work on Playdate.
Looking for something a bit more fast paced!
