Include today's date on lock screen for digital clock face

(It's unrelated to the SDK, but is rather a Playdate OS feature request. Is this a good place to make one? Perhaps, an "os" tag could be useful to have here too.)

I really like all three clock faces available for the lock screen. Analog and Word include today's date, however the Digital one shows the current time only.

I'd love to have today's date on the Digital clock face too. If it was a deliberate decision to omit the date, I'm just curious what was the thinking behind the decision? Thanks!
