i made a ton of progress on making a pulp game, and i went to have lunch without saving, and lost all my progress. is there any way to restore my progress?
It's possible for games made in Pulp to save progress but it's entirely down to the developer whether they make use of that or not. Ideally a game should tell you whether it will save, but if it's a small game and doesn't say either way it's probably safer to assume not!

Unfortunately I suspect not, you definitely want to be saving regularly (and it helps to export backups too).
