Jericho Protocol — WIP survival horror for Playdate

Hello everyone,

I want to share our new Playdate project — Jericho Protocol, a survival horror inspired by Resident Evil 1.

This is our first public build, focused on movement, atmosphere, and puzzle interaction — no combat yet. You can explore a cyber-gothic facility, walk between rooms and solve puzzles.

The goal was to capture that slow sense of exploration that old survival horrors had.

A quick update!

We've added the first version of the combat system to Jericho Protocol. It now includes:

  • unarmed shove

  • knife attack

  • pistol shot

  • shotgun blast

Each weapon has its own timing and frame-based strike window. No enemies yet — this update focuses only on player-side feel and animation.

Next steps: the first enemy prototype.

We've added the first version of theenemies. It now includes:

  • simple transformed servant

  • Resurrected servant

Each enemy has a patrol map, chasing and fighting behaviour.

Next step: Prepare the second(the last) demo with the combat system and enemies.
