Network Access? (like Whitewater Wipeout leader boards)

There are already a few forum posts discussing this from the past. The leaderboard API is only available to Season games for now. As far as I understand it, the Panic team is slowly working on some potential network features down the line, but there's nothing concrete for now on what that will be like.

Networking Functionality

Hello! I just downloaded the SDK today and started reading through the docs. I noticed the JSON support and that got me thinking about web-connected games. I don't see a way to make HTTP requests. I was thinking about making a web-connected game with a leaderboard and this functionality would be pretty sweet if it doesn't exist today.
