I Found a Bug in the Simulator, where when switching the system audio output causes the simulator to not output any sound. This is not really a big deal, because I can close the simulator and reopen it ( as that is what I do anyways when I'm developing because If I don't force quit and reopen constantly while using the malloc log it increasingly becomes slower and slower. )
To recreate:
Open simulator - ( Notice sound coming form your current audio output device )
Go to setting or control center and change your audio output device ( In my case its from AirPods to the mac speakers)
Now the simulator wont play sound
To Fix, Close and reopen the simulator
