Ever since i upgraded to the 3.0.0b on my playdate, i haven’t been able to sideload any new content, i can still uninstall and install previously loaded content. which shows internet connection is working fine.

Thanks for the bug report! Are you side loading games via Sign In or are you adding them manually by mounting your device as a USB drive?

Hi Dan, I’m doing it via sign in, they show up proper in the sideload page, even tried a couple more demos from itch and still nothing
Is this still an issue with the 3.0 release? I have a lot of sideloaded games, both via the Playdate website and via USB, and I don’t want to lose access to them…
Only happened to NEW games, and now some new ones coming in work fine, might ve been a huge coincidence of 4 games in a row not working
with recent updates this stopped happening, so it can be closed

Well bad news, it doesnt seem to be resolved, just seems to apply to certain apps. or certain timings?
I added Ware-wolf Campfire Stories and Mission LunaTrix (playjam version) to my sideloaded list and they don’t show up on the playdate, checked through the simulator and the files work alright. i even got the “download everything again” bug and they still don’t show up

Yes I still get this issue periodically. It used to be that I had to remove them from my recent played list in game library and then from my sideload page and start again and it worked. But that no longer seems to work
FWIW, “Ware-wolf Campfire Stories PDX v1” from Itch DID sideload for me: uploaded from the Playdate site, showed up automatically under Sideloaded on my 3.0 device.
(Just in case that helps determine whether it’s title-specific.)

I’ve had the same title sideload one time and not another, so yeah definitely not to do with games or PDX info
