Parking Drift - is top-down racing game with drift elements. Actually its not about racing, its more about steering skills with a crank. Through the game you will complete set of levels with different complexity and different tasks.
Dev in progress, I still not sure about all mechanics and features, will share in this devlog.
Levels design in progress. I use for that LDtk - really love this app and features it has! With it I can easely describe level goals, features, design and collision. Without it I would stop on 3rd level.
Looks amazing! Quite a conincidence that you had a similar idea to me. I started developing a parking game (but not sure yet if I'll publish anything). Did you implement physics yourself? I'm toying with Chipmunk 2D.

Do you have devlog? Would be interesting to see it too
I was not thinking about physics engine, afraid it will eat all playdate resources. So in my case its simple self-implemented logic.
"Chipmunk" looks pretty outdated but maybe it just does his work.
Working on adding sounds to the game, as drift/engine sounds are pretty important in racing games. Always wondered how is its implemented in real games, but in my case simple pitch change doing all magic
On screenshot - one of common goals - to drift around some spot.
