Idk it would be nice to be able to make platformers in pulp without that janky solution someone made a year ago
Pulp isn't meant for platformers, so any platformer is going to be janky in some way (not necessarily to play, but definitely to make).
Unless you specifically want the challenge or have some compelling reason to use Pulp, you'd probably find it easier and better to jump into the SDK to make a playdate platformer!
I was meaning to have a whole seperate mode for platformers so it wouldn't HAVE to be janky to make, like when you make the Pulp game it gives you the option for a top-down template or a platformer template
