1 - Playdate console constantly keep downloading games I've deleted. And show its for me as "new games available" It's uber annoying, especially since all my purchased games don't fit in the memory at once.
2 - in "Edit folders" -> "Available Downloads" Normally, I doesn't see all my deleted games. Only occasionally do ALL the games I've deleted show up and they download themselves without asking. I understand that in "Available Downloads" all my games that are not installed and that I have purchased should be visible at all times?
Yeah, I’ve had this same problem. The Playdate will randomly just install all of my sideloaded/season/etc. games that I’ve offloaded from time to time, and so I have to go in and uninstall all of them.
I wrote to support. They tried to force me into typical troubleshooting, but at the end they wrote: "Then make sure you keep your OS updated and it should be fixed in the future." That's a bit of an ignorant approach considering how long this problem has been known about.
We still haven't figured out what's going on here, so in 3.1 we're adding a toggle in Settings to keep the device from automatically downloading games. Bit of a hack but it'll do the trick.
