Noticed while doing some game bug testing that Playdate will continue to count a button as being pressed if you immediately open the home menu after pressing the button. It continues to count as being pressed until the button is pressed again.
This works for both face buttons and the D-Pad directions and can easily be seen visually in Playdate's Input Test.
