Each time I start the emulator I receive this Assert failure message
Even if I check "Don't show this dialog again" the same message is displayed next time the simulator is opened.
I'm on Windows.
Is there any way to disable assertions?

I am relieved that someone else is getting this as well!
This happens when you have the PD plugged in or when it connects and tries to sync time. The PD then prints in the log "error parsing time"
Sorry for the troubles, this will be fixed in the release next week. In the mean time, you can revert the SDK or keep your Playdate unplugged while the simulator is running. Sorry again.

I have exactly this problem. I was afraid it was coming from me.
This is fixed in the beta here. 2.7.4-beta.1 Windows SDK is available
