API for ampm and hour 12 similar to pulp

  1. Describe your reason for requesting this feature. What problems are you running into?
  • I would like to use the device time in the same format as the user set it. Either 12 or 24 hour format.
  1. How would this request improve your experience developing for Playdate?
  • Could localize the app according to user settings
  1. Include any other details you have relating to this request.
  • Currently the lua SDK only supports 24 hour time format, can't return ampm and hour12 values. Pulp already has this and it would be great to have in the lua SDK as well.
