Connecting the Playdate simulator to the internet using an Ethernet cable

 Hello forum! I've got a problem right now. I try to connect the Playdate simulator to the internet (to be able to register it) but it doesn't connect, and i think it has to do with the fact that i get internet through an ethernet cable, not through Wi-Fi. Is there any other way i can connect the simulator to internet, and if not, connect the simulator using ethernet?

Please see if these steps solve your problem https://devforum.play.date/t/cannot-register-simulator-404-url/3312/29

No, sorry, it's not a 404 url. The sim is asking me to connect it to wifi, which i cannot do since this computer connects through ethernet only. No wifi connections.

Please read the steps at the link above.

The WiFi referred to is an option in the Simulator, not a real WiFi connection. It's a simulated WiFi connection.

  1. Oh, okay, didn't know it referrred to the simulator's built-in WiFi connections.
  2. Got stuck in the last step.
