Convert old Mac Suitcase bitmap font to Playdate fnt format?

As a type designer, I would like to know if there is a simple way to convert my old bitmap font projects to the Playdate format.

It would save me time porting fonts and give game designers more typefaces to play with.

I just ordered the Playdate and would like to contribute by pushing pixels.

If you build Bits'n'Picas from source Playdate font support is there. Plus Mac suitcase font support.

Official Bits'n'Picas V2 released alongside Unicode 15, that has it.
