Hey all, I've been posting about this project in the unofficial Playdate Squad Discord and figured I should start a thread here. I started writing my own 3D engine late May, and a couple weeks ago was finally able to shift from engine development to gameplay implementation.
Still a lot to go but having a gameplay loop of cast-reel-repeat is a big milestone. Working on polishing that core loop before working on fish behavior / hooked gameplay, which is coming up soon.
