Importing a tilemap to pulp via Firefox

Currently using a PC (Windows 10) to run Pulp on Firefox. I've also tried using Chrome, and Microsoft Edge, yet I cannot for the life of me import a PNG tilemap to pulp.
For the above mentioned browsers, I've tried:

  • importing @ the Game page, under assets "just tiles".
  • importing @ the Room page, same thing
  • disabling adblockers,
  • renaming the tilemap file to tilemap-table-8-8.png

I've read that perhaps this is only viable in Webkit browsers like the warning banner suggests. Can I only use pulp on a Mac?
I really want to dive into the enabling development tool that is pulp, but this feels like a major setback if I can't import something as useful as a tilemap.

Not had a problem with this before (Firefox on Linux) - I think the last bullet point about file naming is essential though. Have you checked this thread?

Another thing to try out would be if you export tiles from one game, then create a new game, can you import those tiles into the new game successfully? This would help determine if it's a problem with your file, or the browser.

Yes I have checked that thread. Still a helpful one.
Oddly enough I have another computer with Linux & Firefox and importing it with all the correct conditions (png, file naming) did the trick! Thank you!!
I guess it must have been a problem with Windows & Firefox. :man_shrugging:t2:

That's really weird - I can't think what might cause that, although you mention that it didn't work in Chrome or Edge either, so perhaps something in Windows?
