So when i try to open the simulator it imediately give me a prompt to enter a sdk file when i press cancel or close the menu where you select the file the whole program will close automaticly i tried pasteing a pdx file of of a pladate game but it keeps giving me a prompt saying the sdk path is not valid if tried un and re-installing the sdk but even that doesent work this completely blocks me from useing the simulator does anyone know how to solve this issue?
What OS are you on? That would be most helpful.

First, are you sure you're launching the correct Simulator and it's in the PlaydateSDK/bin/ folder. If you're opening a random Sim it will prompt for the SDK location. If you are sure you're launching the correct one and you're still seeing this issue, the easiest way to fix this is delete the Sim settings file found in '-your home folder-/AppData/Local/Playdate Simulator/Playdate Simulator.ini'. Hope this helps.
