SDK not working on MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air 2012 mid with Catalina 10.15.07. This is a problem. The playdate sim doesn't work on this computer. I don't know why because it shouldn't take up a lot of anything and I think it could run on this computer. it gives me the error "You have macOS 10.15.7. The application requires macOS 12.4 or later." Do any of you have an idea about what to do.

I’m aware of people using this in the past but there doesn’t appear to be one for macOS 12 (Monterey)

You might be able to use an alternative, such as:

Use at your own risk!

I found a alternate method of editing the info.plist file except now I'm getting the error "unsupported Mac" so now I'm out of ideas except for do the Monterey patcher but thanks for the help

You might be able to use UTM or similar to get a Windows or Linux VM running and use the SDK for that platform instead.

You can download older versions of the SDK which still support macOS 10.15 here: Panic Museum.

The link doesn’t work but thanks for the help :+1:
Edit: I got to the museum and now I have to test different versions to see what works
