Hey guys my name is Jonas, I am a game developer. I recently saw some more things about the play date and I thought about designing a game for it. I wanted to design a pseudo 3D game like Quake, or the sonic CD special stage. If anyone knows how to, thanks!

After looking at the different SDK examples, I'have start to modify: Mode7Driver
I'have start to modify a few things, and day by day, I arrived at this result

I'm having a lot of fun developing this demo, but I stopped at the throttle management.
With the simulator it is not very practical.
I plan to continue when I receive my device for opimizations and new features
Nic got Doom more or less working...
So if you don't go on the discord you might not have seen that Poom is kind of playable. I say kind of because I still have a lot of random crashes when navigating the menus. I am waiting to be able to debug on the simulator figure out what is the issue.
And because of popular demand I've added using the crank to use the Gatling.
...not sure how you'd approach it from scratch. Sounds like a job for C though, not Lua!
